The hotel staff are all very friendly and attentive and couldn’t do enough for you, The food is amazing and there is something for everyone. The Kenya safari is definitely worth going on. Kilaguni lodge in Tsavo west is superb, the views were just out of this world and you could watch the wildlife at the watering hole just in front of you. Africa safaris and Adventures highly recommend this safari. The Maridadi Wing in Baobab Beach Resort has very large rooms with good views and excellent pool facilities. The hotel grounds are beautiful and very well tended, the monkeys are amusing thieves. The animation team is superb, also not to forget the Crab Dive Centre who is outstanding. Baobab Beach Resort is managed by a Swiss and German couple who ensure everything is run like clockwork.

It has beautifully kept gardens where one can escape and sun tan with the sound of the waves lapping the shores or you can choose to be at the pool were most of the daily activities occur. If you are keen on scuba diving, the reefs are unspoiled and you will encounter everything you will need to see. They also have a Spa and massage centre which offers great value for money with a 1 hour massage. Also don’t miss the A la Carte restaurant which serves Prawns and Lobsters Chinese style! Most impressive part of Baobab Beach Resort has to be the food. No dishes left to fester for hours under warming lights in this hotel; everything is freshly cooked in front of you and is top quality food. Even fruit and salad can be safely eaten here. Gentlemen are asked to wear trousers in the evening and this is indeed a place where the ladies can dress up if they wish to and not feel out of place. You can join the gym at Usd 10 for a week that's how good the food is. The hotel holds a Bingo night once a week and the money raised goes towards helping a mentally and physically challenged school in the area. There is a nice mix of nationalities at the Baobab beach hotel, mainly German & English and Kenyans. The general ambiance is lovely .

There is an hour of classical music between 6 and 7 on the lawn every evening. The bar comes alive from 9.45p.m to 11p.m. with a good selection of dance music. After 11p.m. drinks have to be paid for. If you are looking for perfection in Kenya then look no further! This beach hotel is perfect to use as a relaxing retreat whilst doubling up as a base for Kenya Safari holiday and diving excursions and a friendly (Great cocktails, at very reasonable prices). Having breakfast on the terrace staring out at this will convince anyone that getting up early on holiday is a worth while treat. Get there as soon as you can, this is not to be missed. The Kole Kole Hotel is the sister hotel right next door and you are allowed to use the facilities of both hotels. The Kole Kole resort rooms are fantastic and you are able to spend the rest of holiday in this part of the resort. It's a much smaller complex and the beach, bar, pool etc are all closer together, whereas in the Baobab things are quite spread out. There are two pools, one in each side and the new pool is wonderful. Each hotel has a bar area and restaurant. The food is great, such a huge variety for even the most picky eaters!
