The Gombe Tented Camp is situated in Gombe Stream National Park on the shore of the Mitumba stream. With a spacious white sandy beach, big shady trees and remarkable views over the clear waters of Lake Tanganyika, especially at sunset, this is the perfect camp location.

A small reception area is situated on the beach on a wooden deck under a thatched roof and also accommodates a library, information centre, curio shop, bar and lounge. The kitchen and staff area is situated a small distance from the camp so as not to interfere with the sights and sounds of nature.

Meals are something special at Gombe Tented Camp. Breakfasts are American style with emphasis on tropical fruits and juices, lunches are usually light, and three course evening meals are a combination of tasty traditional dishes and fresh fish from Lake Tanganyika.
