Jongomero Camp is the most south westerly, remote and exclusive of any of the camps in The Ruaha National Park, a 3,977 square mile total conservation area with a bio-diverse ecosystem and exceptional game-viewing opportunities of both Eastern and Southern African species.

Lying in the south western sector of the Park on the sandy banks of the Jongomero River and close to the Great Ruaha River, the Camp offers eight well-appointed tents, raised on wooden platforms. Each en-suite tent is furnished in colonial style and has a large private viewing deck hidden by tall acacia trees, allowing you to observe rare species of unsuspecting and often rare wildlife, including Greater and Lesser Kudu, sable, roan and striped hyena. Larger predators - leopard and large prides of lion - are also unusually active and there are an amazing 530 species of birds in the area.
