Lake Duluti nature walk - Hop in a dala dala (local transport) that brings you in 20 min to Tengeru, a lively village along the Moshi-Arusha road. You'll find yourself in the middle of a beautiful green countryside.
Your guide takes you through abundant coffee and banana plantations and on a relaxing walk around Lake Duluti Forest Reserve. You'll identify the many different bird species that can be found here. The walk ends in the village, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink in a local bar and try a chips mayai (chips in an omelet) or a delicious nyama choma, the typical Tanzanian barbeque. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, you can also take a stroll through the interesting local market.

The lodge is set in the shadow of Mount Meru about 3Km past Momella Gate.
Colobus Mountain Lodge:
This relatively new lodge lies in the shadow of Mount Meru immediately outside the southern boundary of the park.
